What is CB Pay?
CB Pay is a mobile wallet service available in CBQ Mobile App. that allows you to make online shopping / payments (for all type of mobile devices), In store purchases (for android mobile devices only) in a secured way without giving your Credit or Debit Card details and host a variety of card control features like blocking / unblocking your cards, setting your cards for overseas usage, setting up the card limit on your add – on cards.

How to register to CB Pay?
• Login to CBQ Mobile App.
• Go to services tab and select “Enroll to CB Pay”
• Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
• Create Shipping and Billing Address
• Follow the prompts to digitize your Credit or Debit Card(s) for payment and to set one digitized card as default card for mobile wallet payments.

What is Digitization?
The process of digitizing your card which includes identification and verification of the cardholder and card, eligibility checks of mobile device, tokenization of the card and provisioning of the digital card onto the device. When the digitization process is complete, your mobile device is ready to be used for CB Pay.

What is Near Field Communication (NFC) technology?
NFC is a short-range wireless technology that allows two devices to exchange information quickly, securely and conveniently at close proximity. NFC technology is used to transmit tokenized payment card information from your phone to a contactless payment terminal without sending your actual card information.

What is Tokenisation?
Tokenisation is the process of replacing your Credit or Debit Card with a unique alternate card number / with a series of randomly generated numbers, which is called the “token” The token number will be appearing on your POS slips instead of your card number.

What type of transactions can be done using CB Pay?
• Remote / online payments - You will be able to authorize E/M-Commerce transactions at Merchants supporting Masterpass using the CB Pay and your digitized Credit or Debit Card
• In store payments – You will be able to pay at NFC technology enabled POS terminals with your Android mobile device, using CB Pay and your digitized Credit or Debit Card.
• Card Control – This is a security feature which will allow you to block / unblock your cards, set your cards for overseas usage, setup the card limit on your add – on cards.

How can I make payment through CB Pay on e-commerce sites?
You can make an e-Commerce transaction at Merchants supporting Masterpass.
At the time of checkout
• Select Masterpass
• Select Commercial Bank from the list of mobile wallet apps appearing in Masterpass.
• Enter your registered mobile number
• A push notification will be sent to your CBQ Mobile app and will appear on the screen of your mobile phone device.
• Click the push notification and it will take you to CBQ Mobile App
• Log into CBQ Mobile app, go to services tab and select “CB Pay”
• Select tab “ Authorize Payment” to approve
• Make payment using any of your digitized Debit or Credit Card

How can I make payment through CB Pay for in-store purchases?
• First authenticate your identity by unlocking your mobile device either by using password or by biometrics or by pattern.
• Make payment on the contactless enabled POS machine by tapping your mobile device directly or by selecting CB Pay option available inside / outside the CBQ Mobile App. (Default digitised card will be debited for the CB Pay transaction. If you wish to pay with other digitised card, please select the card either from CB Pay available at CB Mobile App / login page or by logging in to CBQ Mobile App).
*Before making a payment, please ensure to enable CB Pay as your default mobile wallet and enable NFC on your Android mobile device.

Is CB Pay transaction secure?
Yes it is secure. When you digitize your card for CB Pay transaction, your card information is encrypted and a token is created, which is then used for transactions. The token replaces your card number limiting exposure of your card information.
