Know Your Customer (KYC)
In line with global banking regulations, we are required to ensure customers’ records are up to date. This is referred to by all banks as Know Your Customer (KYC).
How can you update your customer information records?
To update your profile using CBQ Mobile App or Internet Banking, kindly follow below steps.
- Log in to CBQ Mobile App or Internet Banking.
- Click on the "Services" tab.
- Select "Profile Update" under "Account Services"
- Click on "Proceed" to update your profile.
Please follow the below steps to complete the KYC:
Step 1. Download the below forms:
- Customer Information Update Form
- Customer Enhanced Information Form
- Customer Information Update Form (for Minor accounts)
Step 2. Complete, sign and submit the said forms through the Personal Internet Banking or the CB Mobile Banking Application:
- Log in to CBQ Mobile App or Internet Banking.
- Click on “Services” Tab.
- Click on "Write to us" under "Reach Us".
- Select "Compose".
- Under Category select "OCDD Submission".
- Attach the completed forms and the copies of Passport and QID then "Submit".
*QID is not required for non-residents.
The above steps are required to be completed as soon as you receive a notification from the bank asking you to update your information. Failing to do so will cause disruption or restrictions to services on your account.
If you hold a Joint account, both account holders are required to submit this information for the account information to be considered up to date. In case of accounts held by those below the age of 18 years old, both the Minor and their Guardian need to complete and submit the requested documents and forms.
