Commercial Bank honours long-serving staff

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, has hosted a luncheon in honour of long-serving staff who are retiring this year as a way of thanking them for their many years of service.
Twenty one retirees and their families were joined by Commercial Bank’s Board Members, CEO and Senior Bank Management for the celebratory lunch with accompanying speeches and gifts. The staff worked in various Commercial Bank departments and had a combined 412 years of service between them.
Speaking on the occasion, Commercial Bank CEO Joseph Abraham expressed the Bank’s gratitude and appreciation to the long-serving staff for their contribution and devotion throughout their long service.
Mr. Abraham said: “On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is a privilege to extend my thanks for your hard work and professionalism over the years to help build Commercial Bank into one of the leading financial institutions in Qatar and the region. Our employees are our most valued asset, and this celebratory lunch is held in the spirit of Commercial Bank’s ‘One Bank’ culture based on the values of respect, collaboration and teamwork. I would like to thank you, and all of our staff, for your efforts which have contributed to the Bank’s success story in the State of Qatar.”
