Commercial Bank and Doha Golf Club close yet another successful Qatar Masters tournament and Sami Välimäki takes the prize

Doha, Qatar – 29 October 2023: Commercial Bank, the Title Sponsor of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters tournament, marks the end of the 26th edition of the tournament with Doha Golf Club. The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is an annual golf tournament on the DP World Tour Calendar, where many of the world's top golfers compete.
Following a remarkable tournament, Commercial Bank's Board Member, HE Mr. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, and Commercial Bank's Group CEO, Joseph Abraham have presented the Mother of Pearl trophy to the winner of this year's tournament, Sami Välimäki. He was also awarded with a financial award of USD 637,500.
The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is an annual golf tournament where prominent Golf players and enthusiasts gather to witness a prestigious game. Commercial Bank has been the title sponsor for this tournament for 18 years and has managed to make every edition a huge success. As a preview of the tournament, Commercial Bank brought the golf course to customers prior to the Masters tournament through an AI Golf Simulator. The simulator was placed at malls across Qatar and gave customers an opportunity to experience the thrill of the game.
