Commercial Bank celebrates National Sports Day with staff activities and gifts for children and youth

Staff took part in various sports matches and competitions
Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, one of the leading full service banks in Qatar, this week proudly celebrated the 3rd Annual National Sports Day with a wide range of fun packed activities organised for employees and their families at various venues around Doha. To share the celebrations with all members of Qatari society, volunteers from the Bank distributed special National Sports Day gifts at:
• The children’s floor at Hamad Hospital
• The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) tent at the QCB Marathon on the Corniche
Free giveaways were also distributed to customers and children at Commercial Bank branches across Qatar.
In the spirit of encouraging participation in sports and physical activities, Commercial Bank staff took part in a variety of competitive and non-competitive events including a cricket match, football match and a table tennis competition where the Bank’s employees had the opportunity to showcase their sporting talents. Commercial Bank was a sponsor of the QCB Marathon and many staff from the Bank also took part in the 3 km race along the Doha Corniche. To encourage health and well-being, a diet stand was created at Commercial Bank Plaza and the Bank’s Grand Hamad branch, where staff were educated about the importance of leading more active and healthy lifestyles and given healthy food packs.
