Commercial Bank’s CFO: Winner of Finance Monthly’s CFO Award for 2020

Every year, the Finance Monthly CFO Awards celebrate the hard work, innovation and vision of the most successful CFOs around the globe by recognising excellence and achievement in financial leadership. Rehan Khan, winner of this year’s CFO Award, joined Commercial Bank as Chief Financial Officer in 2013 and is also a director of Commercial Bank subsidiaries Orient 1, CBQ Finance, CB Global and CB Financial Services. Rehan trained with KPMG in London, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and prior to Commercial Bank had 23 years of banking experience with HSBC.

Rehan has played a key role in Commercial Bank’s five-year strategic plan and its successful execution, stating that it is extremely satisfying to play a part in the strong turnaround of the Bank. According to Rehan, Commercial Bank’s executive management is a strong collaborative team with very strong support and guidance from the Board and he believes this shows in many aspects including the Bank’s financial results.
