Commercial Bank conducts community outreach activities for National Day

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, has engaged in a number of community outreach activities to mark the occasion of National Day with the wider Qatari community.

 

Volunteers from Commercial Bank distributed special National Day gifts to independent schools and made visits to Al Wakrah Hospital and the children’s ward at Hamad Hospital.

 

Commercial Bank CEO Joseph Abraham said: “Commercial Bank is conducting community-focused CSR initiatives this National Day to mark this occasion with all members of Qatari society. National Day is a proud day in Qatar’s history that all Qataris should have the opportunity to enjoy. As one of Qatar’s leading private sector banks, we believe it is our responsibility to give back to the Qatari community of which we are part of, and so we are distributing gifts this National Day to schools, hospitals and social centres to reach out to as many people as possible and also those who are in less fortunate positions than ourselves.”
