Commercial Bank Hosts Recruitment Week for Qatari Future Banking Leaders

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, one of the leading full service banks in Qatar, recently hosted, a recruitment week in Doha. The event aimed to select the next intake of talented Qataris to join the Bank’s respected career development programme and saw the Bank’s management and team leaders conducting interviews and assessments of a selection of hand-picked candidates that were identified at the recent Qatar Career Fair 2013. As a result, the Bank has released 97 offer letters to all the selected candidates.
In 2013, Commercial Bank initiated an ambitious plan which aims to enhance the number of Qatari employees within the various branches and across a range of departments within the Bank.
Commenting on the career fair initiatives and Commercial Bank’s commitment to recruiting Qatari talent, Mr. Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi, Deputy CEO, said: “This recruitment event is a springboard to our career development programme. The programme attracts young, talented graduates and undergraduates who we guide and train to become the next generation of highly skilled banking leaders in Qatar.
