Commercial Bank launches Debit Card Ramadan and Summer Spend campaign
06 July 2014
Customers can win all expense paid trips to Yas Island
Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, one of the leading full service banks in Qatar, recently announced the launch of a new exciting campaign, which rewards customers using their Debit Cards overseas during the summer. All customers who use their Debit Card during this period stand a chance to win one of 10 all expense paid trips to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, famous for its entertainment, hotels and shopping.
The campaign runs from 1 July until 31 August and customers can qualify by using their Commercial Bank Debit Cards for an overseas transaction, either at an ATM or a point of sale machine. Only one transaction is needed to qualify, with a minimum spend equivalent to QAR 100. Ten winners will be selected and get to enjoy a three day, two night stay at Yas Island, for two people.
Commercial Bank Debit Cards conveniently eliminate the need to carry cash and can be used for a wide range of everyday transactions both at home and when travelling. Debit Cards can be used for making payments directly to overseas merchants when shopping or used to withdraw funds at international ATMs. Commercial Bank Debit Cards are also Chip & PIN enabled, protecting customers from card misuse and providing peace of mind. Commercial Bank advises its customers to contact the Bank in advance to notify them of their travel plans, to ensure their cards are enabled for international usage.
Commercial Bank EGM, Retail and Consumer Banking, Mr. Dean Proctor, said: “Throughout July and August, Commercial Bank is providing some extra excitement for all our customers, each time they use their Debit Card overseas. Our Debit Cards are easy to use, widely accepted throughout the world, and secure. We recognise the summer months are an important period for families travelling overseas to visit their loved ones or to enjoy their vacation. By using their Commercial Bank Debit Card they not only have instant access to their money, but now have an added incentive, as they stand a chance to win a fantastic trip to Yas Island.”
