Commercial Bank launches summer Debit Card Money Back campaign

Customers can win back the value of their international Debit Card purchases

 

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, has announced the launch of its summer campaign, which rewards customers for using their Debit Card overseas during the promotion period from 1 July to 30 September 2015.

 

Commercial Bank customers who use their Commercial Bank Debit Card for an overseas transaction, which can be an ATM cash withdrawal, an online transaction or a transaction at a merchant outlet during the promotion period stand a chance to win back their overseas holiday expenses made using their Debit Card. Only one overseas transaction is needed to qualify, by spending in a non-QAR currency for a minimum value equivalent to QAR 100 either at an ATM or in a retail outlet.

 

Commercial Bank’s Sadara members stand a chance  to win back up to  QAR 5,000 of their international spending made throughout the promotion period, while  Commercial Banks Personal Banking customers stand a chance to win back up to QAR 1,000 of their spending made during the promotion period.

Every transaction they make over QAR 100 whilst travelling overseas, qualifies them for an entry into a draw to win back the value of their spends made whilst overseas. During this summer and travel period we recognise that our customers need safe and secure payment options whilst travelling on vacation or visiting friends and family overseas and by using our Commercial Bank Debit Cards, we want to thank them for their loyalty by offering this special seasonal promotion.”

 

Commercial Bank Debit Cards conveniently eliminate the need to carry cash, and can be used for a variety of daily transactions both at home and when travelling. Debit Cards can be used anywhere where Visa cards are accepted and can be used to withdraw funds from ATM’s or make payments directly to overseas merchants when shopping. Commercial Bank Debit Cards are also Chip and PIN enabled, providing customers with protection from card misuse. They are also 3D Secure enabled, which offers customers the security they need when using their Debit Cards to shop online.

 

Commercial Bank also urges customers to contact the Bank’s Call Centre (+974 44490000) in advance to notify them of their travel plans, to ensure their cards can be used seamlessly whilst travelling overseas.
