Commercial Bank wins prestigious media industry award in Cannes

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, has won a coveted Silver Dolphin Trophy at the sixth Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards ceremony. The award for excellence in filmmaking was received during an awards ceremony before 270 guests in Cannes, France.
 
Held in Cannes, France, the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards is one of the world’s leading international events honouring excellence in the corporate audiovisual industry. Commercial Bank’s 40th anniversary corporate video titled: “40 Years of Innovation & Prosperity in Qatar”, was awarded a Silver Dolphin Trophy by an international jury in the Integrated Communication category.
 
Created by Doha-based Resolution Productions for Commercial Bank, the video was shortlisted from 772 international entries and out of all entries, a total of 152 productions were awarded with prestigious Dolphin Trophies in Black, Silver and Gold during the competition. Centred around a Qatari family’s shared banking journey over the decades, the video pays tribute to Commercial Bank’s visionary board members, dedicated staff and loyal customers, and reflects the Bank’s 40 years of prosperity and innovation since 1975.
 
Commercial Bank CEO Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi said: “We are very honoured to receive this internationally acclaimed creative award.
