Commercial Bank’s third Manchester United Soccer School a big hit with customers

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, and the exclusive financial services partner of Manchester United in Qatar is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the third Manchester United Soccer School coaching camp here in Doha.
More than 160 boys and girls aged 7 to 16 years old took part last month in the Manchester United Soccer School at the Al Arabi Stadium, with two coaches from Manchester United’s Soccer School specially flown in from the UK to provide the coaching.
Commercial Bank customers won places for their children to participate in the exclusive five-day coaching camp by spending on their Commercial Bank Manchester United Credit Card.
The training camp consisted of on-field training and technical skills, similar to that which is used to train Manchester United’s players. The coaches gave an insight into Manchester United youth training techniques and philosophy, advice on how to prepare off the pitch, improve their understanding of the game, develop a winning mentality, and most of all to have lots of fun! Each child also received a certificate upon completion of the training.
The two Manchester United Soccer School coaches commented that it was a great experience to work with the kids in Qatar; they have demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm and passion for playing football and learning about how to play the Manchester United way. We have been particularly impressed with the way the kids communicated with each other and worked together during the sessions.
Mr. Dean Proctor, Commercial Bank EGM, Chief Consumer & Private Banking said: “Commercial Bank is delighted by the success of our partnership with Manchester United and the popularity of the Manchester United Soccer School with our customers’ children. Customers can win priceless Manchester United experiences for themselves and their families simply by using a Commercial Bank Manchester United Credit Card, a card product that is unrivalled in the Qatar marketplace.”
He added: “Commercial Bank is always looking for proactive ways of supporting sporting activities in Qatar to promote a healthy future Qatari generation as part of the Qatar National Vision 2030.”
