“Qatar is our everything”: Commercial Bank planning a host of celebratory activities in honour of National Day

Doha, Qatar: Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, is planning a number of celebratory activities to express the Bank’s national pride in the build up to Qatar National Day.
There will be a host of events and activities at Commercial Bank Plaza during this week, including a museum in the lobby with historical artifacts and a traditional fereej in a special area set up outside. Commercial Bank has also engaged the wider Qatari community through a number of activities as part of its CSR programme that is tailored to promote national pride for this special occasion.
Separately, an outdoor campaign under the theme: “Qatar is our everything”, has been launched earlier this month with celebratory messages marking the occasion, as well as a campaign offering exceptional National Day loan rates for Qataris only.
Commercial Bank CEO Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi said: “Celebrating National Day is a matter of great joy for all of us at Commercial Bank, as we are very proud to be a home-grown Qatari bank for Qatari staff and Qatari customers. To honour this glorious day in our great nation’s history, Commercial Bank has organised a number of activities including an advertising campaign under the slogan ‘Qatar is our everything’, with all activities designed to express our national pride for our beloved country.”
He added: “We are honoured to extend warm congratulations to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and to all Qataris on an occasion that is very dear to our hearts.”
In a show of National Day pride, members of Commercial Bank’s Executive Committee shared their sentiments on the occasion:
Rana Salatt, EGM, Chief Risk Officer said: “On National Day we take the time to celebrate the tremendous progress we have achieved as a nation, and look forward to a successful and sustainable future for all Qataris.”
Khalifa Al Rayes, EGM, Government and Public Sector said: “National Day is a momentous occasion when Qataris come together and rejoice in our national pride of being Qatari, and express our deep loyalty to the leadership and our country.”
Fahad Badar, EGM, International Banking said: “Qatar means everything to me, and National Day celebrations are an occasion for Qataris to reflect and reinforce the essence and meaning of being Qatari and to strengthen national identity.”
Abduljalil Borhani, EGM, Strategic Clients Domestic Banking said: “National Day is a time to express our immense gratitude and thanks to Qatar’s wise leaders, whose vision and foresight have brought us the prosperity and stability we enjoy as a nation today.”
