Attending the Programme’s closing ceremony in Tornado Tower were members of Commercial Bank’s Human Capital senior team headed by Hamad Al Shekili Acting Chief Human Capital Officer; Prof. Laoucine Kerbache, Dean & CEO of HEC Paris in Qatar, senior faculty members from HEC Paris, and the students’ proud families.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Commercial Bank CEO Mr. Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi said: “Through Commercial Bank’s National Development Programme, we are investing significantly in the skills and training of young Qataris as part of our active drive to develop human capital in line with the National Vision 2030. Qatar’s greatest resource is its people and the Youth Leadership Acceleration Programme is a demonstration of Commercial Bank’s dedication to developing this resource for a sustainable future, not only in terms of initiatives for our own employees but for the wider Qatari community too.”
Al Raisi added: “I am also delighted for all the participants of the relatives of Commercial Bank’s valued customers who have completed this year’s Youth Leadership Acceleration Programme, which can only strengthen our client relationships.”
Dean and CEO of HEC Paris, Laoucine Kerbache commented: “As a member of Qatar Foundation, our active participation in the Youth Leadership Acceleration Programme is a clear manifestation of our commitment to positively contribute towards the development of a knowledge-based economy in Qatar. Through this opportunity provided by Commercial Bank as their partner in the programme, we have been able to provide our expertise in designing and implementing a training and skills development programme for the young leaders of tomorrow. I therefore wish to thank our staff at HEC Paris and the students for their energy and enthusiasm that has made these past three days productive and inspirational. I look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Commercial Bank and our work towards developing the leadership skills of young Qataris.”
