FAQs for the Enhanced Corporate Digital Account Opening Platform

1 What is the digital link to open a corporate account online?

You can open a corporate account online by visiting the following link: https://bankwith.cbq.com.qa/.

2 Can I open more than one account online?

The online platform allows you to open only one account. If you need additional accounts, please contact your Relationship Manager or visit one of our branches.

3 What documents do I need to open the account on the enhanced platform?

You'll need the following valid documents:

  • Commercial Registration (CR) from MOCI.
  • Establishment Card or Computer Card (optional if your company is less than 6 months old).
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  • QID and passport copies of owners, partners, shareholders, authorised signatories, and other related parties.

Note: All documents must be valid for at least 30 more days.

4 Can I save my application and complete it later?

Yes, you can save your progress and return to complete the application at any time.

5 Is there a fee to open a corporate account?

There's no fee to open the account. However, an initial deposit of QAR 20,000 is required upon activation of account.

Please note, no initial deposit is required for Micro companies (annual turnover of QAR 1 million and less than 10 staff). Or companies that are registered under QFC.

6 What if I make a mistake in my application?

If incorrect information is found during the Bank's internal review, we'll return the application to you so you can make the necessary corrections.

7 Can I request services like payroll or cards during the application?

Yes, you can request services such as WPS payroll, cheque books, credit cards, and more while filling out your online application.

8 How long does the process take?

Filling out the application takes about 30 minutes, subject to the complexity of your company structure. After submission and review, you will receive an IBAN right away, but it will stay inactive until all required validations and signatures are obtained.

9 Do I need to visit a branch?

Yes. After your application is reviewed, you'll receive an email with a scheduled appointment. During the visit, please bring all the original documents. All company owners, partners, and authorized signatories must be present.

10 Is the platform secure?

Yes, the platform uses end-to-end encryption and is protected with a One-Time Password (OTP) for added security.

11 Who can I contact for help?

12 How long does my application take to be reviewed once submitted?

The application will take up to 5 working days. Once reviewed, our staff will contact you for the next steps.

13 Who needs to sign the application form?

All partners mentioned in the CR need to sign the application form in person in front of our staff.

14 Whose mobile number should be added to the landing page of the account opening?

The person entering the information must have a valid mobile number to receive the OTP to continue to the account opening application.
